It was the summer of 1986 when I made my first Tesla coil that led to my investigation into the coronal discharge effect more commonly known as the "Kirlian Effect." I was handling the high voltage cables while the unit was operating, and I noticed a strong bluish - purple glow where my hands made contact with the insulation of the cables. One thing led to another and after over 10 years of experimentation I developed various means of observing and photographing the coronal discharge. This website is a culmination of that research. I wish to share my experience.
